Student and Alumni Spotlights for the English Program
I chose to come to Belhaven University because—Number one, Belhaven was affordable and evangelical. Number two, my admission counselor really excited me about the campus life and community available at Belhaven. It sounded like, and in fact turned out to be, just what I was looking for: a smaller, warmer, friendlier place than a bigger state school can be.
One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University—During my sophomore year I met Christine Roosma at Belhaven, who has been Christine Bassett now for almost three years.
Because of my degree from Belhaven University—I landed a job teaching English at Mt. Salus Christian School before I graduated, and I am now pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Dallas.
One word to describe your experience at Belhaven: Formational.
