Student and Alumni Spotlights for the History Program

I chose to attend Belhaven because…the people were so friendly. They really are some of the nicest people on earth, and I'm sure I'll keep in touch with many of them for my whole life.

One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University…I have had so many life changing relationships at Belhaven that I couldn't pick just one. I have to pick my five best friends in the whole world—whom I met the first week in Jackson during Blaze Week.

Because of my degree from Belhaven University…I have been accepted for a paid internship at the Mississippi Secretary of State's Office and the US Consulate in Sydney, Australia. My time there helped me develop academically and socially into a secure Christian woman who feels prepared to live and work with diverse people anywhere in the world.

One word to describe my experience at Belhaven: Impacting.
