Student Ministries
The ministries on campus exist to better serve and reach the students of Belhaven for Christ. The different groups strive to impact the spiritual well-being of students in various ways including worship, Bible studies, and various leadership opportunities. Each ministry contains a diverse group of people dedicated to the purpose of building community in the lives of those at Belhaven. The Belhaven University ministries include:
Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) – Through Bible studies, outreach programs and various other activities, RUF is committed to reaching college students for Christ and equipping them to serve. Meetings are held Tuesdays at 8:45 pm in Barber Auditorium. For more information, contact RUF Campus Minister, Chad Scott, at cscott@ruf.org.
Student Missions Fellowship (SMF) - The purpose of SMF is to challenge Christian students to develop a world vision for outreach, evangelism, and discipleship through worship, prayer, and fellowship with one another. Meetings are held Thursdays at 9:00 pm at Dr. Al Chestnut’s house. For more information, contact SMF Faculty Administrator, Dr. Al Chestnut, at achestnut@belhaven.edu.
