We look forward to seeing you for Family Weekend on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30!  Family Weekend is a great time to return to Belhaven to see your student.  The weekend is full of activities OR you can just hang out and cheer for the Belhaven Blazers football team in our new stadium in the bowl.

Friday, September 29, 2017
8:30am – 3:00pm Belhaven Discover Day Program
For all siblings and family members interested in enrolling in the Belhaven traditional program.  Please contact Admission Office!
9:00am – 7:00pm Belhaven Bookstore open with Family Weekend specials!
9:00am – 7:00pm Shoebird Café open
11:30am  - 2:00pm Lunch available – Belhaven University Dining Commons ($6.50 per person, pay at the cashier)
1:00pm – 5:00pm Belhaven “Think Center” Open House
Come visit where your student can get help to make them successful in all aspects of college…plus it’s a really cool space. Our Think Center staff will be available to discuss your child's keys to academic success.
5:30pm – 7:00pm Family Catfish Dinner in the Student Center Dining Commons ($6.50, pay at the cashier) Come have some of the best catfish in Mississippi!
8:00pm Rec the Night with Student Leadership
Students and families are encouraged to attend Spirit Night with the Office of Student Leadership and Belhaven Leadership Council (BLC) outside of Heidelberg Gymnasium. Don’t miss a chance for Belhaven gear, yard games on the concourse lawn and a “cool” snack.
10:00pm Friday night Sibling Sleepover
Siblings (of same gender) may stay overnight in their brother or sister’s room!  Check in with RA.

10:00am – 12:00pm Bookstore and Shoebird Café open
10:00am Brunch in the Dining Commons ($6.50 per person, pay at cashier)
10:00am Campus Update and Q&A with President Parrott in the Dr. Billy Kim International Center, Room 202 (light refreshments served, free to all)
Dr. Roger Parrott will share the latest news as well as answer your questions. Don’t miss it!
11:30am – 1:00pm Belhaven Football Tailgate in the open space between Helen White and Hood Library
This year we’ll be steps away from the new Blazer’s stadium in the Bowl. Come join us for burgers, fellowship and door prizes. Drawings will be held throughout the tailgate! ($5 per person/$25 per family max, pay at the tent)
12:15pm Coin Toss Drawing in the open space between Helen White and Hood Library
We will hold a drawing for one family to serve as the honorary captains…winners must be present at the Tailgate Tent between Helen White and the Hood Library!
1:00pm  Belhaven Blazers Football
