Student and Alumni Spotlights for the Music Program
I chose to come to Belhaven because… I loved the atmosphere of the small, Christian college, and Belhaven perfectly fit all my needs. When I came to visit and audition, I was overwhelmed by the friendliness and personal attention given to me by the professors and the students. I was attracted by the quality of music instruction I would receive and the focus on Christ throughout the whole institution. One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University… is with my fiancé Kevin. We met playing Ultimate Frisbee at Belhaven! Because of my degree from Belhaven University… I have improved immensely in my skills as a pianist and accompanist and am much more prepared to enter the world of professionals. One word to describe my experience at Belhaven: Beneficial. Belhaven has stimulated growth for me in many ways. |
