Student and Alumni Spotlights for the Theatre Program

I chose to come to Belhaven because…it was the only college out of the 72 that I was researching that had a Theatre Ministries major.  I also felt that God was calling me toward a Christian College, since I was coming from a secular community college.

One relationship that has meant a lot to me while attending Belhaven University…has been my relationship with my professor, Dr. Lou Campbell.  He has been a major influence in my life at Belhaven, and he has become not only a memorable teacher, but a good friend as well.  I hold him in the highest respect.

Because of my degree from Belhaven University…I can pursue what I believe God has brought me here for, and that is ministry through theatre.  I look forward to seeing what God can do in and through me for years to come.

One word to describe my experience at Belhaven: Service. I have learned the joys of service here at Belhaven University and have seen many amazing people serving others and our Savior,  Jesus Christ.  I have come to love the Belhaven motto, "To Serve, Not to be Served."  The service that I have learned and observed here is something that I want to take with me and use in my everyday life!  Belhaven has been an amazing experience—one that I will never forget.
