• STEM Workshop/ Florida A&M – Studied the Micro-spiral Method of teaching and the supporting research on the success of the model. These sessions assisted me in developing the best and most updated teaching and leadership practices to share with students in my courses. (2019)
• Training for Educators Rising/Phi Delta Kappa – This training helped establish protocols to share with other students as they prepare for competitions and presentations. (2019)
• Making Connections Conference on Reading for Educators – This event was an excellent time for inspiration and sharing ideas. The workshops centered on understanding the needs of all students, teachers, and administrators in the Reading process. (2019)
• PDK Educators Rising Conference – This opportunity is unique. It provides a venue to encourage young high school juniors and seniors who are choosing teaching as a career. It is an encouragement to go and see this great group of teachers. (2019)

Personal/Professional Vision Statement

I enjoy serving a living savior, Jesus Christ. I hope to use my many years of service and experience as an administrator and teacher to assist current and future educators to be caring, reflective administrators and/or teachers, who will become change agents making a positive impact on students’ lives, socially, emotionally, and academically.

Indeed, school administrators and teachers are decision-makers and must be competent in leading educational institutions in daily decisions and future planning for improved excellence in teaching instruction and improved student learning.
