Dr. Loveless began her career at Belhaven on April 1, 2024. However, she previously served as an advisor for the development of the nursing program at Belhaven and served as a member of the School of Nursing Advisory Council from 2014-2018. In her role, Dr. Loveless provides servant leadership to facilitate the overall administration and leadership for the School of Nursing. She works closely with faculty and students to ensure a collaborative approach for program success.
Dr. Loveless has been a registered nurse (RN) for 26 years. She has worked in nursing education for 21 of those years and has held leadership position in nursing education for 17 years. Of her 21 years in nursing education, Dr. Loveless has served the State of Mississippi for 16 years as faculty and/or administration in two accredited nursing programs. She has also worked an additional seven-years in nursing leadership for two large-scale accredited online universities.
Dr. Loveless is from South Mississippi. She has been married to her husband, Chris for 27 years. They have one daughter Georgia, who attends Ole Miss. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, sporting events, and bird-watching. She believes that nursing and nursing education is a calling to do God’s work.

Teaching Focus
- Dr. Loveless has taught a myriad of nursing courses across all levels of nursing education. However, she is passionate about working with prelicensure students to provide leadership development.
