Dr. Owen Palmer Robertson, a graduate of Belhaven College, will be the featured guest at two PCA events in the month of June.
A compilation of essays entitled, The Hope Fulfilled: Essays in Honor of Dr. O. Palmer Robertson, will be available for purchase and signing at both events, and seeks to, “embody both the Reformation and Westminster tradition flavors of Old Princeton theology with a pinch of Old Southern Presbyterianism. There is an attempt to demonstrate how such beliefs bore choice fruit in the Biblical interpretation, theological formulation, ecclesiastical life, pastoral ministry and world-wide impact.”
Friends, pastors, former colleagues, students and fellow-presbyters are invited to join in celebrating Robertson during a luncheon at the General Assembly Convention Hall in Dallas, TX, Tuesday, June 10, at 12:00 p.m. The cost is $25/person, and the registration deadline is June 4.
Another invitation is extended for dinner at Miller Hall, First Presbyterian Church, Jackson, Tuesday, June 17, at 6:00 p.m. The cost for the FPC dinner is $15/person, and the registration deadline is June 12th.
Space is limited for both events, so register early. There will be no registrations at the door.
