February 19, 2008 (Jackson, Miss.) – The Belhaven College Theatre Department introduces, Servant of Two Masters, a classic Italian Renaissance comedy, where mistaken identity, disguise, and coincidence, provide an evening of fun for the whole family.
The audience, seated at piazza style café tables, will get an intimate look at this timeless tale, modeled after performances held in Venetian public squares during the 18th Century. Servant of Two Masters is adapted and directed by Belhaven theatre faculty member, Dr. Louis Campbell.
Performances are February 20-23 and 27-March1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Arts, Flexible Theatre. Doors open at 7. Adult admission, $10; students, seniors and children, $5. Italian favorites like, Tiramisu, Gelato and coffee available for purchase before admission.
