Three Lady Blazers qualify to run in the NAIA Cross Country National Championships on November 22, 2008. The 5 k race will be held at the Dr. Wayne E. Dannehl Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This year’s national championship race will feature 32 teams and 112 individual qualifiers.
Christie Barber, Libby Brown, and Jessica Gunning all qualified via their times at the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference meet November 8th. Barber finished 3rd overall with a time of 20:33.07 in the 5 k race. Brown checked in with a time of 21:17.74 and 7th place overall. Gunning recorded a 9th place finish with an overall time of 21:39.10.
