An Evening of Diamonds V: 'Percussion and Pianos'

(March 23, 2009)–On March 31st, the Belhaven College Music Department will host the final performance of the 2008-2009 Preston Chamber Music Series. An Evening of Diamonds V: “Percussion and Pianos” will highlight the Belhaven College Percussion Ensemble, Belhaven percussion instructor Mr. Paul Heindl, and the Sachs Piano Duo (Mrs. Carolyn Sachs and Dr. Stephen Sachs). This finale represents a varied program of solo and ensemble percussion repertoire, including The Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion by Bela Bartok.
