July 22, 2009—When students and their families start looking at colleges, a stack of glossy brochures and informational websites can only go so far. Because the campus visit experience is so important, Belhaven College will host three Discover Days for prospective students and their families this fall: September 18, November 6, and November 20, 2009.
Belhaven College Discover Days are tailored for high school students who are looking for the right college “fit.” The day includes an opportunity to meet a professor in the student’s proposed major, take a tour of campus, and eat lunch in the dining commons. Students and families will also have a chance to meet with their Admission Counselor to talk about the enrollment process, including application and financial aid procedures.
Discover Days are free of charge and last from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Register online for the Discover Day that fits your schedule. If preferred, private campus visits are also available. Contact the Undergraduate Admission office with questions: admission@belhaven.edu.
