Mary Chapin Carpenter to perform at Belhaven College Center for the Arts

April 8, 2009-As part of the Eudora Welty Centennial Celebration, Mary Chapin Carpenter, winner of five Grammy awards, will perform with Kate Campbell, Caroline Herring, and Claire Holley at the Belhaven College Center for the Arts. Singing the Centennial: A Welty Tribute Concert will be held on April 17, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. to honor famed southern author Eudora Welty's 100th birthday. The event a part of an entire week of special events, and it is sponsored by the Eudora Welty Foundation and Cellular South.
