February 1, 2011: Belhaven University would like to congratulate Darren Terpstra for being one of a total of fifty students that was selected for the Sigma Beta Delta Leadership Academy held annually in San Diego, California. Sigma Beta Delta is a national business honor fraternity. This fraternity has chapters in forty-four states. The vision for the leadership academy was to use Sigma Beta Delta's resources to change the world. He hopes, "Sigma Beta Delta will be implementing these ideas and we can move one step closer to changing the world." Terpstra is a senior Business Administration major and is currently serving as the Belhaven University student council vice president.
