Belhaven University President, Dr. Roger Parrott noted, “All of our branch campuses are having their best fall ever – with each having record numbers of new students. We’ve also had strong growth this year in our Jackson graduate programs with their best new enrollment as well. And our Online enrollment continues to unlock its potential as we serve over 300 students this fall.”
Belhaven University serves 2,152 students in the state of Mississippi which represents an increase of 81 students or 3.9% from the 2010 academic year. The total traditional aged students (18-22) on the main Jackson campus on Peachtree Street is just shy of 1,100 at 1,091 an increase of 4.6%.
Dr. Parrott commented, “In a year when we celebrate 100 years on Peachtree Street, it is only fitting that we also have the largest number of traditional undergraduates to ever enroll at Belhaven. The success we experience is a testament to God’s provision and purpose for this university and we look forward to serving students of all ages for many years to come!”
