May 21, 2012 (Jackson) - This summer Belhaven University is hosting several basketball camps, grades K-12, for those who love the game of basketball and want to improve their skills.
The camp is split into two parts, the Individual Skills camp and the Super Shooter camp. The Individual Skills camp is designed to help each camper, one-on-one, in all phases of the game, including footwork, defensive technique, ball handling, passing and receiving, and game competition.
The Super Shooter camp is dedicated to fundamental techniques of shooting and while improving campers ability to shoot from all spots on the floor.
The Belhaven camp staff are committed to teaching the game of basketball and a proper attitude that will help players improve their skills while improving sportsmanship.
The dates for these camps are June 4-7, July 23-26 and July 30-August 2. The day is split in half with the Individual Camp at 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and the Super Shooter camp from 12:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. The half-day camp sessions are $85 each. The combined Individual Skills and Super Shooter camps are only $155.
