March 2, 2012 (Jackson) - High school juniors and their parents will get a chance to experience Belhaven University at Junior Day on March 23. One visit might be all it takes to spark interest in attending college here at Belhaven.
It’s not too late to register online for Junior Day.
Suzanne Sullivan, Director of Admission, said, “Junior Day is a great opportunity for juniors in high school to get a first-hand look at Belhaven and all that God is doing on our campus. It’s important that prospective students visit our campus and the junior year is the perfect time to do so before the busyness of senior activities begin.”
Junior day begins with check-in, then, it’s off to a tour through Belhaven’s beautiful campus. After an information session with admission, students can pick any class to sit through and visit. At lunch, enjoy a delicious meal in Belhaven’s Dining Commons and chat with our professors. Finally, wrap up the day with a residence hall tour and campus life session.
Daniel Shaw, Assistant Director of Admission, is also excited about meeting prospective students and said, “For most students, it’s their first taste of the college experience, while the parents are just beginning the daunting college search. We help eliminate the uncertainty and let the excitement take over through an interactive and engaging experience on Junior Day.”
