April 4, 2013 (Jackson) - Chamber music from famous composers like Beethoven and Tchaikovsky will fill the night at Belhaven’s Center for the Arts Concert Hall on Saturday, April 6. The Belhaven University Music Department will present their Orchestra Concert at 7:30 p.m. and will showcase the talent of students, faculty and alumni.

Come and enjoy this free concert and evening of symphonic orchestra music. The program includes works by such great composers as Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Bizet, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Grieg. Dr. Paxton Girtmon, Associate Professor of Music, and Mr. Song Xie, Associate Professor of Music, will both share the baton to direct the orchestra.
