November 20, 2013 (Jackson) - Best of Belhaven, an end of the year performance, will feature a wide variety of musical performances from the gifted students in Belhaven’s Music Department. This free performance on November 25 will be presented in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall and will begin at 7:30 p.m.
“Best of Belhaven highlights the finest work of our student musicians each semester, with a smorgasbord of musical treats-everything from piano works, instrumental pieces and solo songs to chamber music, musical theatre, and new compositions,” said Dr. Sauerwein, Assistant Professor of Music Composition and Theory.
Audience members will get a glimpse into the many concentrations available through Belhaven’s music degree program which include: Collaborative Piano and Pedagogy, Composition, Music Ministries, Musical Theatre, Performance and Vocal Pedagogy and Choral Conducting.
