February 25, 2013 (Jackson) - After four years of study, students in the Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance program will present their final projects at the Senior Dance Concert on February 27-28 and March 1-2. Over the course of four nights these dance students will display original senior projects exhibiting the culmination of their dance studies at the Belhavens Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center Studio.

Each senior has a theme for their project that is creatively unique to the individual dancer, and will consist of classical ballet, modern and contemporary dance styles. Cynthia Newland who is Chair of the Dance Department said, We hope you will come experience the passion and maturity that is evident in these inspiring young performers and choreographers. Projects specifically relate to each student unique curricular focus, highlighting particular aspects of artistic developments and accomplishments.
