April 14, 2014 (Jackson) - Graduating students from Belhaven Houston will be honored at commencement on April 25, 2013. The Belhaven Houston Commencement starts at 7:00 p.m. at Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Dr. Audrey Kelleher, Vice President for Adult and Graduate Enrollment and Student Services, will be the commencement speaker for the Houston graduation ceremony. Dr. Kelleher’s current responsibilities at Belhaven University include leadership of the adult program marketing, admission, and student services functions at multiple campuses throughout the southeastern United States. Before joining Belhaven, Dr. Kelleher worked in the non-profit sector as Executive Director of Lifework Leadership with responsibility for the Orlando training program and for the operations of the national Lifework Leadership organization. Prior to joining Lifework Leadership, she served as Dean/Director of External Campuses for Palm Beach Atlantic University. In her leadership role at the university, she opened the Orlando campus.
Dr. Kelleher has both a business and educational background with experience as a private school principal, classroom teacher, and formerly the Central Florida Men’s Division Business Planning Manager for JC Penney Company. She has a B.S. in management and marketing, M.Ed. in educational leadership from the University of Central Florida as well as a Ph.D. in leadership and education from Barry University. Dr. Kelleher currently serves on the steering committee of the CCCU Center for Research in Adult Learning and is past president of the Central Florida Higher Education Association.
