January 9, 2015 (Jackson) - The Graphic Design Department will host an exhibit featuring 15 student designers from January 17 to February 7. The exhibit is entitled 15|15 and will begin with an opening reception on Saturday, January 17, 2-4 p.m. in the Bitsy Irby Visual Art and Dance Center Art Gallery.
“The idea for the name of the exhibit came about because there are fifteen designers in the show happening in 2015,” said Gigi Turner, Assistant Professor and Chair of the Graphic Design Department. “This is a juried show, wherein the work has been chosen by professionals that have volunteered to judge. This allows the students to get a true and objective feel for how their work is received.”
15|15 will feature print design work that includes everything from logos,advertising campaigns and brochures to editorial designs and packaging design works.
