November 11, 2015 (Jackson, Miss) - Belhaven's Symphony Orchestra Concert will feature the talent of the University's top music students on Monday, November 16.
This free concert starts at 7:30 p.m. in Center for the Arts Concert Hall and will highlight the artistry of Johannes Brahms's Symphony No. 2 and Carl M. Von Weber's Der Freishchutz. A wealth of original themes, warm and colorful harmonies will make this symphonic experience a favorite to all who attend.
“You don't want to miss our most exciting and brilliant performance with our music students,faculty and outstanding community players,” said Song Xie, Associate Professor of Music. “I'm very proud of our student musicians with the Belhaven Symphony Orchestra who have worked diligently and achieved a higher level of excellence for this performance.”
