November 18, 2015 (Jackson, Miss.) - On November 23 at 7:30 p.m., Best of Belhaven will showcase some of the top music performances from the last three months. This diverse concert will include the following musicians:

- Zakary Joyner - “Summertime and A Woman is a Sometime Thing” from Porgy and Bess - Violin
- Rebekah Miller - “Vocalize” - Cello
- Anne Hilleke - “Nocturne, Op. 9, No. 1 in B-flat Minor” - Piano
- Miranda Kunk, Anne Hilleke, Thorburn McGee, Laura Raymond - “Piano Quartet in A Minor” - Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello
- Jessica Ziegelbauer - “Flagmaker, 1775” from Songs for a New World - Mezzo-Soprano
- Belhaven Octet (Jessica Schmidt, Miranda Kunk, Zakary Joyner, Hannah Wilson, Thorburn McGee, John Farrar, John Sinclair and Rebekah Miller) -“Octet in E-flat Major, IV. Presto” - Violin I, II, III, IV, Viola I, II, Cello I, II
- Rachael McCartney - “English Suite No. 2 in A Minor, BWV 807, III. Courante” - Piano
- John Sinclair & Beth Walczak - “Sonata in G Minor for Cello & Piano, III. Andante” - Cello & Piano
Best of Belhaven is a second chance for those who missed one or all of the many performances during the semester. This outstanding performance at the Center for the Arts Concert Hall is free to the public and will give the audience a glimpse into the many concentrations available through Belhaven's music degree program.
