November 6, 2015 (Jackson, Miss.) - Every semester the Instrumental Arts Concert delivers an inspirational concert featuring the talent of Belhaven's finest student musicians. The upcoming performance on November 13 is sure to excite and will feature the unique sounds of Belhaven's Woodwind Ensemble as they revisit the works of traditional composers and explore contemporary avenues of music. This free concert in the Belhaven University Concert Hall will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Instrumental Arts Concert will also showcase saxophone, flute and percussion students in a solo setting during the first portion of the performance. The Salvation Army Brass Ensemble will add their artistry to the musical variety as well. The finale will include Belhaven's Mixed Ensemble who will perform selections from nearly every musical era,with selections from Wolfgang Mozart to Scott Joplin.
