Students give their time to service projects like painting, cleaning, yard work, organizing, serving food, gardening and various other tasks. Places like the Mission First, We Will Go, Habitat for Humanity, Spencer Perkins Foundation and others will receive a helping hand from students this year.
“It is our hope to impact the community by reflecting Christ through serving. This day is one way for all of us to live out the University motto of 'to serve, not to be served' in a tangible way,” adds Petty.
