March 22, 2017 (Jackson, MIss.) - Belhaven's Career Boot Camp: Health and Sciences is a day of networking, panel discussions and mock interviews for traditional students majoring in the sciences.
This April 5th career event in the Dr. Billy Kim International Center will host professionals, who will share their expertise about finding the right job and staying competitive in the health and science job markets.
11 a.m. -12 p.m. - Panel Session
12 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. - Luncheon and Networking
1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Mock Interviews
Claire Langley, director of Belhaven's Center for Career and Calling, said, “The University has provided a career boot camp for over 10 years, due to growing number of students and degree offerings, we are expanding the event in order to provide additional knowledge and opportunity for our student body.”
Only juniors and seniors may register for the networking luncheon and mock interviews. Students that register will have at least two mock interviews and be judged on various factors, then given direct feedback from the interviewer.
