December 15, 2017 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven University is now offering a Master of Ministry Leadership (MML). This new degree equips present and future leaders of churches, parachurches, and all varieties of organizations seeking to minister biblical truth in a rapidly changing culture.
This 33-hour program address challenges from messaging, marketing-communications, and corporate culture to the vital details of funding, management, board relations, and many other relevant topics.
The unique online format of the MML gives participants the ability to stay in their current role, while they complete coursework.
The program begins with an 'iron-sharpens-iron' intensive, face-to-face seminar, followed by 18 months of online teaching from some of the world's leading experts. Each class tackles projects that are applicable to ministry right now.
The Belhaven MML addresses 158 specific leadership competencies identified through a survey of Christian organizations, plus Belhaven's own knowledgeable faculty and leaders. The degree coursework will begin with an evaluation of leadership gifts, styles, and challenges. As the program gains momentum, students are paired with a senior mentor to learn deeper insights and confidentially evaluate the toughest challenges in leadership.
Belhaven's Graduate Certificate in Ministry Leadership is also available for students needing a shorter program.
