October 24, 2017 (Jackson, Miss.) - The famous novel Don Quixote will come to the stage on November 15, 2017. This devised theatre production, created by director Joe Frost and Belhaven's Theatre Department, will put a new spin on the classic Spanish tale by Miguel de Cervantes.
Premiering in Barber Auditorium, the play follows the adventures of a hidalgo, named Mr. Alonso Quixano. Because he reads many chivalric romances, he loses his sanity and decides to set out to revive chivalry, undo wrongs, and bring justice to the world under the name Don Quixote de la Mancha.
