February 22, 2017 (Jackson, Miss.) - Near the end of their studies, senior dance students conduct and present research that applies to a variety of topics relevant to dance. Marilyn Miller and Faith Ingram will reveal their findings on February 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Miller, from Memphis, Tenn., will speak about the correlation between dance and missions and how they intersect. Ingram, a Texan from Marshall, will present her study on autism and its expression through movement. Admission is free to this event being held in the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts And Dance Center Studio Theatre.
This is just one of the many exciting events from Belhaven's School of the Arts. Check out Arts Ablaze for plays, dance and music concerts, poetry readings, gallery exhibits and more happening this year.
