January 17, 2017 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven's annual Career Boot Camp on February 9, 2017 is for traditional students of any major. The career event will host a panel of Jackson area business leaders who will share their expertise about finding the right job and give students insight about staying competitive in today's job market. The panel session starts at 11 a.m. in the Billy Kim International Center.
10:30 a.m. - Doors open
11 a.m. -12 p.m. - Dustin Kohel, VP of Sales and Marketing, Total Transportation: My College Experience & Transition to Career: Internships, Social Activities, Work & Networking
12 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. - Mix and Mingle - Luncheon and Networking
1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Mock Interviews.
Only juniors and seniors may register to the networking luncheon and mock interviews. Students that register will have at least two mock interviews and be judged on various factors, then given direct feedback from the interviewer.
