June 12, 2017 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven's Welcome Week will kick-off the semester for new freshmen and transfer students with a week packed full of exciting events, starting Saturday, August 26.
The Welcome Week schedule will keep students and parents updated on everything that is happening each day. Campus-wide cookout, campus connections, recreation day, Miss. Braves game, luau and orientation are just some of the many activities you can expect during this busy week.
Academic advising and other informative sessions will prepare you for your upcoming semester of study. This week is also a good time for students to meet with professors and staff.
The Welcome Week Guide, provided at check-in on Saturday, will give you additional information about events and resources. You can turn in all necessary forms and paperwork while getting your mailbox key, ID card and car decal.
Also, be on the lookout for our Move-In Day volunteers who will help you get settled into your rooms.
Parents will receive their own packets at check-in that will include an agenda and guide to Belhaven. Welcome Week for parents will also provide opportunities to meet with faculty and staff, look into college life and find out what is happening at Belhaven this year.
