April 10, 2018 (Jackson, Miss.) - Music composition senior James Tripp Stewart will have his work, Market Garden, featured at the Composers' Orchestral Reading Session on Monday, April 23 at the Mississippi Museum of Art.
Professional players with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra (MSO) will perform the compositions of Stewart and other students from Mississippi College and Jackson State University.
This special event is free and will take place in the museum's Trustmark Grand Hall. The concert will start at 5:30 p.m. and each piece will be read, discussed and read a second time. This process will give audience members an inside view of the music making process.
