September 11, 2018 (Jackson, Miss.) - Blazer Day, happening September 21, is a customized campus experience for potential students. Much like Discover Day, students will be able to participate in activities that are relevant to their interests with expanded programming, campus tours, and optional meetings with admission counselors.
“We will produce a schedule that fits the interest of each student,” said Belhaven Director of Admission Jake Donald. “Blazer Day is similar to a personal visit, but with other families on campus doing the same. They will be able to meet with professors, sit in on a specific class, and have their own experiences, based on the degree they are considering.”
Blazer Day will include:
- Campus and Residence Hall Tour
- Professor Panels
- Chat with the President
- Class Observation
- Academic and Financial Aid Session
- Lunch in the Dining Commons
- Admission Counselor Meetings
Attending Discover Day is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in our academically vibrant, Christian environment, where the student life is thriving. Donald adds, “The college search is more than just seeing campus pictures or reading about colleges online - it's about the experience. From interacting with faculty and students to the sights and sounds of our campus, you'll have the opportunity to see for yourself what makes Belhaven such a unique place. You'll be glad you chose to visit!”
Register online for Blazer Day or contact Belhaven's Admissions Office at admission@belhaven.edu and at 1-800-960-5940. None of these dates work for you? We invite you to come to campus when it is convenient for you. Schedule your personal campus visit today.
