November 12, 2020 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven University's School of the Arts will present the 2020 Collaborative Arts Concert November 20-21, 7 p.m. in the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center Studio Theatre.
This student-produced event features collaborative works created from the dance, music, theatre, art and design, and film departments.
We hope it will invite and encourage more aesthetic collaborations in which students and faculty in the various fine-arts disciplines explore and develop new works and new ways of working together, said Dr. Andrew Sauerwein, chair of Belhaven's Music Department. This event springs from a widespread interest in exploring ways of collaborating, discovering effective approaches, and experiencing the resulting artworks.
Admission is free, but advanced reservations are required.Seating will be limited and socially distanced. Masks are required.
