Student Musicians Take the Stage for Strings and Orchestra Showcase
March 13, 2024 (Jackson, Miss.) - On March 22, Belhaven’s Symphonic Orchestra, string soloists, and chamber ensemble will grace the stage for an evening filled with musical excellence.
Audiences can anticipate captivating renditions of Brahms' “Hungarian Dances No.1, 4, and 6,” as well as Devorak's “Slavonic Dance No.2” and Grieg’s evocative string composition, "Last Spring."
The event is open to the public and free of charge. Doors will open at 7 p.m., with the option to enjoy the performance via livestream on the Belhaven University Music Department's Facebook page.
