Dr. Ben Wiggershaus Joins Belhaven University’s Biblical Studies Faculty
February 14, 2025 (Jackson, Miss.) - Dr. Ben Wiggershaus will join the faculty of Belhaven University this fall in the Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry Department. With extensive experience in biblical scholarship, theological education, and Christian ministry, Dr. Wiggershaus brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Belhaven’s Biblical Studies program.
Dr. Wiggershaus earned his doctorate under the acclaimed Old Testament scholar Dr. Bill T. Arnold at Asbury Seminary. He has taught widely in Old and New Testament studies, hermeneutics, and Christian doctrine. In addition to his academic work, Ben comes to Belhaven after serving on staff at Palmetto Hilles Presbyterian Chruch (PCA) in Simpsonville, South Carolina, and is currently pursuing ordination with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

Dr. Wiggershaus’s appointment reflects Belhaven University’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and teaching from a Christian worldview. He will teach both undergraduate and graduate students in the biblical studies program.
