Belhaven Music Department to Present Instrumental Arts Concert
March 25, 2025 (Jackson, Miss.) – Belhaven University’s wind and percussion students will take center stage on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, for the instrumental arts concert “Let the Nations Be Glad.” The performance, set for 7 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall, will showcase an evening of exceptional brass quintets, woodwind choirs, percussion ensembles, and wind ensemble literature.
“Our students have worked diligently to prepare a program that highlights both technical mastery and artistic expression,” said Dr. Rebecca Geihsler, chair of Belhaven’s music department. “This concert is an opportunity to celebrate their dedication and share the joy of instrumental music with the community.”
The concert is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available on the Belhaven University Music Department Facebook page.
