Music Department to Host Annual Strings & Orchestra Showcase

March 13, 2025 (Jackson, Miss.) - Belhaven University’s Music Department will present its annual Strings & Orchestra Showcase at the Center of the Arts Concert Hall on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public at no charge.

The showcase will feature performances by Belhaven’s string soloists, chamber ensembles, and Symphonic Orchestra, offering a program that includes both classical and contemporary pieces.

Dr. Rebecca Geihsler, Belhaven’s Chair of the Music Department said, “The Strings & Orchestra Showcase exemplifies the dedication of our students and faculty at Belhaven University, highlighting our mission to nurture talent and connect our community through the universal language of music.”

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for in-person attendance. A live stream of the event will also be available on the Belhaven University Music Department’s Facebook page.
